    A good example of this type of change in the past was the challenge for axe manufacturers.<\/p>\n

    • \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Suddenly overnight chainsaws came on the market?<\/li>\n
    • \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 There is no question chainsaws had an impact on the market of axe manufactures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      It is a specific objective of \u201cHead-on\u201d to work with existing suppliers. <\/strong><\/p>\n

      Often these types of changes are destructive to the point that \u201cold\u201d businesses disappear.<\/p>\n

      \u201cHead-on\u201d is committed to work with suppliers.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

      • You cannot always stop new developments but<\/li>\n
      • You can in fact have a change over growth path<\/u><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        The founder \u00a0of the \u201cHead-on\u201d Johann had to often assist companies as a result of such changes.<\/p>\n

        One of those particular nasty changes happened in the printing industry.<\/p>\n

        • In the old days there used to be highly skilled professionals known as \u201cLetter-setters\u201d. When electronic printing started most of those shops either had to close or had to be totally modernized.<\/li>\n
        • The impact was not just on the businesses but also on the \u201cLetter-setters\u201d..<\/li>\n
        • To address this type of change & challenge requires foresight, mutual respect and a willingness of cross sector collaboration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          \u201cHead-on\u201d will as a result of many such experiences work closely with suppliers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

          New concepts and inventions <\/strong><\/p>\n

          \u201cHead-on\u201d is not a manufacture or supplier. We believe our function is to assist to stimulate new inventions, new concepts and methods.<\/p>\n

          And that all such new concepts or equipment and methods should be accommodated\/provided by existing suppliers. Therefore new concepts will be made available to existing supplier.<\/p>\n

          • \u201cHead-on\u201d is therefor putting in place the processes to support the interaction between “First Responder Innovation Hubs”\u00a0and Suppliers.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
